Checkers online

Free 8×8 checkers (draughts) with forced captures, multi-jumps and kings. Choose English or Russian rules, play three AI levels or invite a friend to a live game.

Checkers rules at a glance

Checkers is played on the dark squares of an 8×8 board. Pieces move one square diagonally forward and capture by jumping over an adjacent enemy piece. If you can capture, you must, and if the jumping piece can capture again it keeps going. A piece that reaches the far row becomes a king and may move backwards too. Capture all your opponent’s pieces or leave them without a legal move to win. Dark moves first.
